BitTorrent is one of the most common peer-to-peer file-sharing (P2P) communication protocols for exchanging files on the Internet. More information about BitTorrent can be found on WikiPedia.
With the built-in BitTorrent engine, CinemaTube makes downloading media files quick and easy without having to keep your computer on. To activate the torrent download feature of CinemaTube, you need:
- A USB storage device in NTFS (windows NT file System) or EXT3(Third Extended File System) format (**FAT or FAT32 formats are not supported in this feature)
- At least 20GB of free space in the storage device is highly recommended
- CinemaTube connected to the Internet (The CinemaTube is built with wired connection and an Ethernet cable is included in the package for your convenience. With a dedicated USB WiFi dongle which is sold separately, the CinemaTube can be connected to the Internet wirelessly.)
You can find preferred torrents on the Internet (or you can download sample torrents listed on the right) and store them on the attached USB storage device, or in a shared folder on the networked remote PC.
On CinemaTube Home Menu->Bonus Features->Torrent Download. On the "Torrent Download" menu, you can upload the torrent seeds stored on the USB device (shown as "USB Torrent" on the menu) or stored in the shared folders on computers (Shown as "PC Torrent" on the menu). The CinemaTube will start downloading torrents. Up to 3 torrents will be downloaded simultaneously and other torrents will be in queue.
